One of Clarendon FM objective is to provide a platform for local artists including musicians, writers, poets and actors. In this regard, the station will endeavour to promote local talent as much as possible through the playing of demo tapes, interviews with musician groups and promoting of events and activities of a local nature.
As previous highlighted the station will also provide an opportunity for members of the community to display their talents by participating in Auditions or any other such programme of music and or giveaways participation's.
Here at CFM we enjoy the interaction of our listeners and to reward our listeners for participating, we have limited freebies to give to the listeners when meet certain requirement.
These rules shall be binding on you when entering in such event operated by us, or our sponsors or any company or website owned or controlled by us.
CFM New Talent is about finding and inspiring new talent. Every month we create and run a number of new talents on CFM offering opportunities in all areas of broadcasting including comedy, music, story and entertainment through audio. We also looking for music talents aimed specifically for young people aged under 25.
Some of our initiatives offer job opportunities within the station, others provide a platform to showcase your talent and others give you the chance to network with key industry professionals.
If we don't have an opportunity that's of interest to you when you visit the site, you'll get lots of great advice and encouragement from our experts. You can also meet some of our previous young hopefulls and find out why they were chosen and how they've got on since. We also have hundreds of useful links to help you pursue your passion and, where we can, we'll let you know about opportunities outside of the CFM.
